Madonna of the Pomegranate - Sandro Filipepi called Botticelli (Tempera on wood, diam. 143.5)

Painted probably in 1487 for the Audience Hall of the Massai di Camera in Palazzo Vecchio, as is confirmed also by the fleurs-de-lys on the frame. At the Uffizi since 1780.
